McCain wins Blue States

I found this on hucksarmy.com…
Despite the media’s attempt to paint Wisconsin or Washington as something more than they were, those primaries were clearly another Blue State love fest by McCain.

This has been covered more times than I care to remember, but Blue States will mean nothing in November! Zero! Zilch! Nada! In my opinion, if your state votes blue in the previous election, you should sit out the next set of Primaries until you can smack some sense into your state! The war to beat the Democrats will rest squarely on the shoulders of the Red States and a couple key swing states.

“But, there are Republicans in those Blue States that count too.” Yes, I realize there are Republicans in the Blue States, but it’s the independents and moderates that keep voting McCain to victory in these states! Everyone knows McCain is not carrying the conservative base. I can guarentee you one thing, there were very few moderates or independents that voted for Huckabee (because he’s a CONSERVATIVE – remember, thats what the party used to stand for.)

The states and the voters that Huckabee carries are 100% pure conservatives. They are social conservatives, they want the second amendment upheld, they want the fence built, they want someone who signed the no new tax pledge, someone who doesn’t want human embryos to be destroyed for science, someone who believes it’s one man one woman in marriage, someone who understands whats at stake in Iraq, and will appoint the right judges to the Supreme Court.

The people who voted against Huckabee clearly don’t care about these things (or refuse to vote their conscience and just vote for some non-existent electability factor.) Is it just me or does there seem to be a dwindling number of truly conservative folks outside of the south/heartland anymore? Where have they gone? Who has replaced them? What are the consequences of allowing this new evolution of “Republican” voters to choose our nominee? Don’t get me wrong, I have seen many true conservatives hunkered down in a blue state fighting the good fight (and you are greatly appreciated for it), but unfortunately, that number is sadly small.

I know I’ll get a million comments from the people who voted for McCain, insulted that I insinuated that they weren’t true conservatives… but you voted for MCCAIN!.. so you should take your “I’m a Reagan Conservative” windbreaker and run it through the wood chipper. I don’t want to hear your excuses of why you did it. I don’t care. And I don’t care about your list of “conservative violations” that you wrongly accuse Huckabee of – that doesn’t change who McCain is and has proven himself to be time and time again.

We are slowly coming upon sad days for the Republican Party. A day when at worst we give the reigns of the country over to the dark side democrats to burden us with a cornucopia of new taxes and appoint liberal activist judges to the bench – or at best have moderate McCain ready and willing to once again turn his back to all the things we hold dear. Thats what we call a lose/lose scenario.

But there is one shining beacon of light atop the hill! One man who stands on principle – who knows what he believes and why he believes it. A man who’s wisdom is founded upon something greater than his own understanding. A man that will make decisions as the Leader of the Free World, and we can rest assured those decisions will only be made after much prayer, after much council of those around him, and based on principles that can’t be shaken such as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. One man who will not simply stand on the sidelines and promise not to rock the boat on these issues, but will aggressively attack the things that must be changed. That man is Mike Huckabee.

The War Continues!

Now that Huckabee is finally clear of the “Potomac Primaries/Blue W’s (Wisc n Wash), he can get back to a friendlier environment. His days of trudging through the snow trying one last attempt to snatch some victory from the face of Blue Defeat are over. (In my opinion, trying to win these Blue State Primaries is like trying to put a dress on a pig – it frustrates you and angers the pig. Just let the pig wallow in the mud while you head for somewhere Red. I know, I know, Huck needed a decent showing in WI, I just wanted to use the pig reference.) It’s time for Huckabee to sprint to the end.

He will test his mettle in Texas, Ohio, N Carolina, Kentucky and more down the stretch. There has never been any doubt that McCain would have a dangerously close number of delegates to secure the nomination with every primary. Contrary to popular belief, we Huck Supporters can count, and know what the scoreboard says. Our job is to continue to fight and force this thing into overtime at the convention. We know what we’re up against and we know it’s a war. We are looking for nothing more than a block, even if it’s by one delegate.

The stakes have never been higher, it’s our country that hangs in the balance. We march on knowing it’s a righteous cause for which we fight. We refuse cash in our principles to appease the McCain supporters, the media, or the GOP sellouts. We are more determined with every primary that passes. Our resolve is strengthened with every state that is thoughtlessly placed in the hands of a Moderate. Neither our will nor our spirit can be broken. We won’t give up, so quit asking. We won’t change our vote to McCain, in fact its utter nonsense to even suggest it. We will ruthlessly and relentlessly fight for every last delegate in hopes of getting our candidate to the convention.

Soldier on Hucks Army! Remember the Alamo!! Oh, and McCain….Texas ain’t BLUE!

Stop the McCain Train!!

Unless the American People step up and vote to stop McCain we will have one ugly dilemma on our hands !!!

http://bp3.blogger.com/_9fglHzz4NEs/R7OD2tF06bI/AAAAAAAAAJc/Jtt0BXbx_kk/s1600-h/mccain+exposed+soros+and+kerry.jpg

After finding out yesterday about the Soros/Teresa Kerry connection to McCain – it better go to a brokered convention or it’s going to be one ugly election because there would only be http://www.moveon.org/ candidates on both sides should McCain get the nomination.

That is what you call a dilemma (a problem offering two solutions or possibilities, of which neither is acceptable).

This is the article I was made aware of as of yesterday 2/12/08 – I am posting this so that Americans can learn the truth – not to slam McCain but Americans should know about this and unfortuneatly you won’t hear about it on the news.

I also wanted to research this before posting it:

ELECTION 2008John McCain funded by Soros since 2001Candidate’s Reform Institute also accepted funds from Teresa KerryPosted: February 12, 2008 1:00 am EasternBy Jerome R. Corsi © 2008 WorldNetDaily George SorosAs Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with left-wing donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.

In 2001, McCain founded the Alexandria, Va.-based Reform Institute as a vehicle to receive funding from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and Teresa Heinz Kerry’s Tides Foundation and several other prominent non-profit organizations.

McCain used the institute to promote his political agenda and provide compensation to key campaign operatives between elections.

In 2006, the Arizona senator was forced to sever his formal ties with the Reform Institute after a controversial $200,000 contribution from Cablevision came to light. McCain solicited the donation for the Reform Institute using his membership on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. In a letter to the Federal Communications Commission, he supported Cablevision’s push to introduce the more profitable al la carte pricing, rather than packages of TV programming.

Read the entire article here: http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=56177

While doing research on this matter I found several articles which confirm this, as well as, this gets even worse:
“The McCain-Feingold legislation was an idea devised by the brilliant Mr. Soros.”
“During the 2000 political season John McCain and Russ Feingold attended the two so-called ‘Shadow Conventions’ that Soros sponsored. McCain, who is desperately attempting to retain his false title of ‘Republican’, was the keynote speaker at the ultra-liberal Philadelphia convention while Feingold spoke at the Los Angeles event. Low and behold, in 2001, John McCain founded the Reform Institute largely funded by a huge donation from George Soros’ Open Society Institute and his Tides Foundation.
“Most damning is McCain’s Reform Institute fellow, Juan Hernandez, who is an open-border lobbyist and former Mexican government cabinet member. Working for Presidente Vicente Fox, he was the Director of the Office of Mexicans Living Abroad. He is described in his bio at McCain’s Reform Institute as being an American, but actually has dual citizenship with Mexico and has feverishly lobbied for amnesty. Juan Hernandez with his extremist views on illegal immigration and open borders, is also the John McCain presidential campaign’s Hispanic Outreach Director. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to see that McCain has never veered off of his path to amnesty.”
“A little known fact is that McCain has quietly endorsed George Soros’ anti-2nd amendment gun control position, going so far as to do an advertisement for the Soros funded pro-gun control group, Americans for Gun Safety. Campaigning against gun shows to promote the McCain-Lieberman Gun Show Control Bill of 2004, the advertisement carried multiple misleading statements as explained by Dave Kopel writing in the National Review Online in an article titled, “Gun Games: Truth is a casuality of the anti-gun cause.” The McCain-Lieberman Gun Show Law would have greatly expanded the Brady Bill and the Bureau of Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) while continuing to fund new gun control laws. Important to note is that the highly respected Gun Owners of America has been exposing McCain’s anti-2nd Amendment agenda for quite some time. Read GOA’s Take on John McCain and John McCain’s Gun Control Problem. Prior to 2000, the beginning of his relationship with Soros, McCain went from being a supporter of the 2nd Amendment to being a lead sponsor of anti-gun bills.”
McCain’s Reform Institute:
Look at the Leadership entry – you can see U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is also a member and a McCain supporter – D.C. needs to have a major cleaning – WE THE PEOPLE need to clean house !!! We must vote to get these fake politicians who are bought and paid for – we must vote to send them home.
Also, check out Advancing the Reform Agenda – they are still happy and bragging about McCain-Feingold – THEY JUST DON’T GET IT – I PRAY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL GET IT !!!
This is why I cannot stress enough – Wake up America – Stop McCain or we will have no choice other than a Soros backed candidate in the General election – it has to stop now while we have a true conservative candidate Mike Huckabee – if not we will have a major dilemma on our hands come November.

The Miracle of Mike Huckabee

This election season the media has tried to presume that Senator John McCain will be the Republican Nominee for President 2008. However, they seem to forget that it is “we the people” that decide these things by casting our vote for our candidate of choice.

Tonight’s Kansas Caucus & Louisiana Primary have proven that “we the people” choose former Governor Mike Huckabee for the Republican Nomination. As Mike Huckabee said today with his speech before CPAC that he did not major in math but did major in miracles. This definitely shows with the results from tonight, it has made it more difficult for Senator McCain to get enough votes so he can get the nomination. As I sat reading on Hucks Army tonight of all the projections, and math being done as to how much McCain would have to get in order to get the nomination, it shows that God will work this out to his favor. We are impatient people, but God has no time tables, he foreknew this election before the Earth was even formed. It has further taught me how to keep trusting God, and always abide in prayer for all things.

I know that all the people who are casting their vote for Mike Huckabee, it is proving to the Establishment GOP that we are not assuming this marathon is over. Rasmussen polling has stopped doing its daily tracker for the Republican Presidential race they say the race has been determined to go to John McCain.

Senator McCain is a war hero, and has done good things for America, but he is not a staunch pro-life candidate. He also supports stem cell research on the unborn. He has McCain-Feingold enacted that is unconstitutional and worked with Senator Ted Kennedy on an amnesty bill. Amnesty is a touchy subject, I can’t blame the illegal immigrants that are here to better themselves and their children. However, it is draining our tax system with the children in schools, the healthcare system, etc.

I think it is time for America to wake up and realize that Mike Huckabee is going to be the Republican nominee. It may not be easy from here on out, but God never promised us that it would be. I know that in all things that God be glorified. All of the Political Strategist sit up on the television crunching their numbers, telling Americans it can’t be done for Mike Huckabee. I also saw tonight how most of them were eating some humble pie. On Monday Sean Hannity and the likes will be on their radio shows down grading what “we the people” did today. We want to make America better, bring change to Washington, make it work for the people again. Nancy Pelosi has not done much to unite things on Capitol Hill, this is sad. There are great things facing our nation, the National Security threat we are facing from radical Islam and our economy is sliding into a recession. Gov. Huckabee is the best person to take care of these problems and many more.

So, to sum this all up do not listen to what is told on the television or the radio. Take the time to research for yourself to make sure that you are voting your conscience and most importantly your values. I say this GO MIKE HUCKABEE!!

Four Myths Busted Super Tuesday

Hatchet
By Lucas Roebuck

Once again, conventional wisdom gets shredded when people go to vote. I’d invest in crow; it looks like there may be a run on that commodity. Super Tuesday was a real myth buster (not to be confused with a Mitt buster). Here is what the collective wisdom of the voters taught us.

Myth one: Conservatives are sheep who follow whatever there “leaders” say.

That’s right folks. Even though the talking heads of “conservative” radio and Fox News blasted Sen. John McCain and Gov. Mike Huckabee in an unprecedented barrage of negativity, voters didn’t listen. They handed strategic victories to the pair.

If you listen to Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck or other right-wing talking heads (all of whom I do listen to), you may think that conservatives are a monolithic block of people who walk in lock step with each other on every single issue.

Of particular interest were Coulters promise that if the GOP didn’t endorse Mitt Romney, she’d support Sen. Clinton. Say hi to Hillary for me, Ann.

The Super Tuesday dominance by Sen. McCain and Southern surge by Gov. Huckabee (which I predicted last week) proves that conservatives are much more complex. As I have said before, conservatives, based on my observations, seem to fall into three camps: social conservatives, fiscal conservatives and pro-military conservatives (hawks). Most of us conservatives care about all three, but we just have different priorities. For talk radio, immigration is the defining issue, followed by economic policy.

Those are both important issues, but for some of us, protecting the life of unborn children and fighting the war against Islamic jihad is more important. The votes reflected that.

Myth two: Huckabee voters would go for Romney if Huckabee would only get out of the race.

After Huckabee’s fourth place finish in Florida, Gov. Mitt Romney tried to convince the rest of us that Huckabee (who I support), was keeping him from uniting “true” conservatives, i.e. fiscal conservatives with a hard line on immigration. Huckabee was a “spoiler.”

The reality is more likely the other way around, looking at the numbers. In the states that Huckabee won, McCain was second and Romney was third: Alabama, Arkansas Georgia and Tennessee. The notable exception was the West Virginia convention, where McCain and Rep. Ron Paul supporters moved into the Huckabee column to give him the win.

But what about the states that McCain won where Romeny was second? Did Huckabee play a spoiler role? Hardly. Assuming 100 percent of the Huckabee votes would have gone for Romney had Huckbaee dropped out, the former CEO still couldn’t have closed the gap in Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, New Jersey or New York.

On the other hand, In Oklahoma and Missouri, Romney was clearly a spoiler for Huckabee, where the gaps were a few percentage points between Huckabee (second) and Romney (third). If anyone was thwarting the alleged “collective will” of conservatives, its Romney.

The Huckabee narrative really falls apart when looking at Gallup Poll second-choice data. The USA Today reports, “In our latest USA Today/Gallup poll Huckabee supporters were asked for whom they would vote if the race came down to John McCain or Mitt Romney. The results?  McCain wins over Romney as the second choice of Huckabee voters by more than a 2 to 1 margin, 64 percent to 28 percent.  Indeed, McCain beats Romney 42 percent to 24 percent with Huckabee in the race (Huckabee gets 18percent of the vote, Ron Paul gets 5 percent, and Alan Keyes gets 2 percent).  With a narrowed-down ballot focused just on McCain and Romney (forcing Huckabee voters to choose between the two front-runners), McCain wins 53 percent to 30 percent — a slightly expanded margin.”

Myth: Mike Huckabee destroyed the Republican Party in Arkansas.

Several well-meaning, vocal members of the GOP in Arkansas have sent out the message to would-be-Huckabee voters in other states: Huckbaee destroyed the GOP in Arkansas. Huckabee certainly did infuriate the anti-immigration crowd.

I always contended that when Huckabee was on the ballot, Republicans showed up to vote, and when he wasn’t they lost. Of course, 2006 was a bad year for Republicans all around — but it certainly hurt the Arkansas GOP not to have Huckabee bringing people to the polls that year.

The Arkansas GOP put out a press release Wednesday saying that the GOP turnout in the Super Tuesday Arkansas primary was the largest since at least 1992. What drove that turnout? Even though many conservative and Republican leaders in Arkansas had endorsed other candidates because of trivial disputes with Huckabee, voters turned out for Huckabee. Huckabee won 60 percent of the Arkansas vote. In Arizona, McCain only won 47 percent of his home state. In Massachusetts, Romney barely won half of his home state.

Myth: Without tens of millions of dollars, you can’t be competitive.

I did some pre-Super Tuesday research and found that Huckabee spend around $12/vote, compared to McCain’s $32/vote and Romney’s $77/vote. Romney has spent almost $100 million to stay competitive with Huckabee, who has spent less than $10 million. Money may help the world go around, but it can’t buy you an election.

When Will Romney Drop Out?

Super Tuesday’s results are in, and I believe that the Republican race for the best candidate to lead America has taken a new path. Huckabee gained great momentum and clearly did much better than Romney, despite being outspent, ignored by pundits, and ridiculed by talk radio.

Huckabee won five of the major states, and would have won several more if Romney hadn’t been in the race. If Romney were to drop out, most of his supporters would move toward Huckabee. However, if Huckabee dropped out (not likely after how well he did today) the majority of his supporters would go to McCain.

Romney has spent millions of dollars at his own expense (an estimated $40 million dollars in debt) and has to come to the stark realization that his message just isn’t resonating with the Republican base.

On the other hand, one also has to realize that Huckabee who has spent very little, was not given any attention in the national media (they have claimed it was a two person race) and has survived being hammered by talk radio. His message is resonating with an ever increasing number of Americans.

Also FOX News reports that tomorrow Huckabee will receive several key endorsements along with some serious cash as his campaign takes a major surge. Come convention time, when Huckabee takes on McCain, I believe that Huckabee will convince the Republican base that he truly is the conservative’s best choice to take America in the direction we need to go.

THE BIG QUESTION: When will Romney come to grips with reality and drop out of the race so that Huckabee can take on McCain?

Heart, Commitment, Gutsy

Heart. Commitment.  Gutsy.  The New York Giants exemplified these qualities last evening in what is being widely hailed as one of the greatest Super Bowl games in history and a titanic upset of the heavily favored New England Patriots.

For many long months against overwhelming odds, we have been working our way towards the White House in a similar fashion.

Our run has been long and difficult at times.  Improbable.  Yet here we are, still running strong together, heads held high, eyes forward into Super Tuesday.  The media and our rivals want to make Tuesday the finish line for our campaign.

But if the media really understood our campaign and the issues we are fighting for:  the Human Life Amendment, real border security, the FairTax and so much more, they would understand that we are here to stay.

America will see a second upset this week.

For us to have a chance though, I need your help now.  Please, take a moment to do these three things:

1.  Below is a list of the Super Tuesday states.  Please scan them and make a list of family, friends and co-workers you may know in each of these states.  Then, email and call the people on your list and ask them to visit our website www.mikehuckabee.com to learn more about our campaign and to vote for me on Tuesday.

2.  Make 5 calls to voters in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Alabama and Georgia tomorrow using our online phone bank tool.  I know these calls aren’t fun to make, but they are necessary.  So far, the calls we have made in Oklahoma, Georgia and Alabama have helped identify thousands of supporters that we will be able to reach out to and remind them to vote on Tuesday.  Imagine, if we are able to contact 50,000 more voters in these key states tomorrow.  The people we reach and then follow-up with may make the difference on Tuesday.  The polls in many of the states are that close.

3.  Make a contribution of $25 or more to help us reach our goal of $1,000,000 by tomorrow at midnight.  We are less than $280,000 away from our goal.  Your financial support will be invested on Tuesday into our final Get Out The Vote calls to voters in Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.  Every dollar you contribute will go towards contacting supporters and reminding them to vote.

Let me close by saying, “heart, commitment and gutsy” could just as easily describe our campaign.  Working together, lets show America a second upset this week.  Lets make certain Super Tuesday isn’t a finish line for our campaign but a starting line for the second half of our run

Do You Think God Doesn’t Rule? Don’t Mess With Israel!

1) Remember the Tech Boom of the 1990’s ?
>>>Genesis 12:3
>>>And I will bless those who bless you, and curse those that curse you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

>>>Proverbs 3:33
>>>The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked: but he blesses the habitation of the just.

The bible simply states, that what nation blesses the Jews, the nation of Israel, that shall he also bless. However, what nation curses Israel, works against Israel and curses Israel, He shall curse that nation.

Do you remember the ‘Tech Boom’ of the 1990’s? Well that was directly after the Gulf War where America deployed the Patriot Missile Batteries to shoot down the SKUD missiles that Iraq was shooting at Israel.

The news one night showed the Jews jumping up and down in the streets of Tel Aviv chanting “God Bless America”. Soon after the war, our economy boomed, technology expanded exponentially.

2) October 30, 1991: The Perfect Storm – (The Halloween Storm) As the Madrid Conference opens in Spain to consider “Land for Peace” in the Middle East, the “Perfect Storm” develops in the North Atlantic, creating the largest waves ever recorded in that region, some up to 39 feet. The storm travels 1000 miles from east to west instead of the normal west to east pattern and crashes into the New England Coast. President H.W. Bush’s Kennebunkport, ME home is damaged.
3) August 23, 1992: The Madrid Conference is moved from Spain to Washington, DC where Israel is again pressured to give up its land to the Arabs. Hurricane Andrew hits S. Florida causing $30 billion in damage and leaving 180,000 people homeless.
4) January 16, 1994: Northridge Earthquake – President Clinton meets with Syria’s president Assad to discuss giving away the Israeli Golan Heights. Within 24 hours a powerful 6.9 earthquake hits So Cal. This quake killed 61 people and did over $21 Billion in damage according to Time magazine.
5) March-April 1997: The combination of PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat touring America and Clinton rebuking Israel for not giving away her land for peace coincide with some of the worst tornadoes and flooding in US history. On the very day Arafat lands in America, powerful tornadoes devastate huge sections of the nation, ripping across Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky and Tennessee. Arafat’s American tour also coincides with the storms in the Dakotas, which result in the worst flooding of this century, in addition to weeks of major storms throughout the Midwest. Arafat finishes his tour and leaves the US and the storms stop.
6) January 21, 1998: Lewinsky Scandal-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with President Clinton at the White House and is coldly received. Clinton and Secretary of State Madelain Albright refuse to have lunch with him. Shortly afterwards on that day, the Monica Lewinsky scandal breaks into the mass media and begins to occupy a major portion of Clinton’s time.
7) September 27-28, 1998: Secretary of State Madelain Albright works on the final details of an agreement in which Israel will give up 13 percent of Yesha. The same day Hurricane George slams into the Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175. The hurricane hits the coast and stalls. On September 28, Clinton meets with Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize the land deal. Later, Arafat addresses the United Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian state by May 1999, while Hurricane George pounds the Gulf Coast causing $1 billion in damage. At the exact time Arafat departs the US the storm begins to dissipate.
8) October 15, 1998 Texas Flooded: Arafat and Netanyahu meet on the Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks are scheduled to last five days with the focus on Israel giving up 13 percent of Yesha. The talks are extended and conclude on October 23. On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area is deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continue until October 22 and then subside. The floods ravage 25% of Texas and leave over $1 billion in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.
9) November 30, 1998: Market Capitalization Evaporates-Arafat comes to Washington again to meet with President Clinton to raise money for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. A total of 42 other nations were represented in Washington. All the nations agreed to give Arafat $3 billion in aid. Clinton promised $400 million, and the European nations $1.7 billion. On the same day, the Dow Jones average drops 216 points, and on December 1, the European Market had its third worst day in history. Hundreds of billions of market capitalization were wiped out in the US and Europe.
10) December 12, 1998: Clinton is Impeached—As Clinton lands in the Palestinian-controlled section of Israel to discuss the “land for peace” process, the House of Representatives votes four articles of impeachment against him.
11) May 3, 1999: In Israel Yasser Arafat is scheduled to declare a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. In America the most powerful tornado storm system ever to hit the US sweeps across Oklahoma and Kansas. The winds are clocked at 316 mph, the fastest wind speed ever recorded. The declaration is postponed to December 1999 at the request of President Clinton, whose letter to Arafat encourages him for his “aspirations for his own land.” He also writes that the Palestinians have a right to “determine their own future on their own land,” and that they deserve to “live free, today, tomorrow and forever.”
12) October 11, 1999: Hurricane, Earthquake and Dow Collapse-As Jewish settlers in 15 West Bank (Israel) settlements are evicted from the covenant land in Israel, the Dow-Jones financial averages lose 5.7 percent in the worst week since October 1989. On October 15 the Dow lost 266 points, and a hurricane slams into North Carolina. The next morning, October 16, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake rocks the southwest in the 5th most powerful earthquake in the 20th Century. The earthquake was centered in the California desert and did little damage but was felt in 3 states.
13) April and August 29, 2005: Exactly one week after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon completed the forcible eviction of Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip hurricane Katrina struck the states of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama with a destructive and catastrophic force. 80% of the entire city of New Orleans was left under water. Many weather experts called this the worst hurricane and natural disaster that has ever hit the country. President Bush supported Sharon’s evacuation from Gaza. In April 2005, Bush and Sharon met in Crawford, TX where Bush praised Sharon for his “strong visionary leadership” in initiating the Gaza withdrawal, known as the disengagement plan. “I strongly support his courageous initiative to disengage from Gaza and part of the West Bank,” he said. Referring to the withdrawal of more than 8,000 Jewish settlers from Gaza and four isolated West Bank settlements.
14) January 2008: President Bush visits Israel for the 1st time as President to discuss shared sovereignty (dividing) Jerusalem. Prime Minister Olmert looses a Right wing coalition amid rumors of further withdrawals. Olmert’s control drops to 67 of 120 members of the Kenesset. Bush arrives back home to a crises in mortgage loan foreclosures, recession worries, the DJIA drops 784 points on the year, a French investor looses $7 Billion dollars, rocking the financial world, and congress can’t get an economic stimulus package passed fast enough. The Dow reverses its downward spiral on 1-22-8 and heads back up. Congress frantically searches for more improvements.
15) America’s decay advances to next step. Media controlled. Elections compromised. 50 million babies butchered. Parents can’t be called Mom and Dad. Planned Parenthood working to teach kids to experiment with the pleasures of sex. Gay’s working for preferred access to everything. Controlls of Pornographers disappear. All vestiges of Christianity and God being wiped out. US Supreme Court in the Balance (4-1-4) – 5 Massive winter snowstorms dump tons of snow over Continental US……..WAITING……..Don’t mess with Huckabee

Huckabee Is Still In The Race for the White House

CNN Senior Political Analyst, Bill Schneider, had the correct view of tonights debate – Huckabee a clear winner. (See story at end of post)

The world, the pundits, the news stations, GOP talking heads, and most of all the Rominator, wish Huckabee would just disappear. They can’t explain how this “Christian Fundamentalist” from Arkansas continues to stick around. Other candidates have dropped off like flies around a bug zapper – but not ole Huck!

They’ve tried everything to rid themselves of this “nuisance”. They have sent the biggest talk radio guns after him. They have asked him every religious question hoping he’ll trip up – but he comes away looking better. They have dug through his record and have tried to convince the American public that he will tax us like a democrat, give all our college scholarship money to the illegal immigrants, and pardon murderers and rapists for his own guilty pleasure. They have consistently tried to shove him into a box labeled “Unelectable- Redneck- Intolerant Christian- Semi-Republican”, and every time he speaks, every listener scratches their head as they notice he isn’t at all what they thought.

They have called his campaign “over” at every stage – over before it started, after an Iowa win, after a strong showing in New Hampshire, after a “Fred” away from winning South Carolina, and most recently after Florida – and no matter how many delegates he gets on Super Tuesday, the following Wednesday, he’ll be pronounced dead on arrival again.

When debate time rolls around, they have shoved him to the side of every debate hoping he’ll fade in the glow of their “big dogs”, and when he doesn’t, they just decide they won’t ask him any questions. The truth is, every time Huckabee gets the mic in a debate – he RULES. He captivates the audience, hits his points clearly and with humor, nails important issues with conviction, never falls for the traps that are set, and comes across as the confident, down to earth, able, “No-BS” conservative that he is.

Watch the video of him speaking as the other candidates stare at him, you can see it in their faces – “HE’S GOOD AT THIS.” It’s almost like they believed the press and underestimated him, and Huck just keeps hitting home runs. The pundits and Romney spend all month trying to paint a certain picture of Huck, and in 90 minutes, he displays the truth of his positions and strength of his character.

Well Huckabee supporters, you are seeing the playing field is far from level, so what do we do about it. I say we push on, knowing we will not get an ounce of love from anywhere but one place – the only place that counts – THE VOTERS!

And it’s high time that someone points out, that neither McCain or Romney are shooting for ANY OF THE IMPORTANT RED STATES (unless you count Home State Arizona or Mormon Mecca Utah)! They are kicking and scratching for every blue state in the Union! Wait and see when Huck takes all the Southern and Heartland RED states come Super Tuesday – and the Republican Party will have to ask the burning question – “Can we nominate McCain or Romney WHEN THEY BARELY WIN A RED STATE ACROSS THE BOARD?!”

Although the media exposure has been an embarrassment to journalism, America will soon find out just who Mike Huckabee is come Super Tuesday. When he takes all sorts of states across America on Feb. 5th, the rest of America will stand up and take notice. And the one thing we know about Huck is this – when people REALLY get to know him, his character, his leadership and where he really stands on the issues, they will throw their support behind him in droves!!

The Final Nail in Mitt’s Coffin

A Vote For Romney Is…

By: Chad Stenzel
If you’re scoring at home, it’s 0-4. That would be Mitt Romney’s record in contested states where his father was not a 3-term governor. By any measure, that can’t inspire a lot of confidence at Camp Willard. The guess here is when the filing deadline arrives Thursday (and not a minute before), the former governor of Massachusetts will admit to plugging more than $30,000,000 of his own money into this race. Keep in mind, that number will be reflective through 2007 only. He undoubtedly frittered away much more of his hard-earned fortune once the votes started coming in. While Romney is gloriously wealthy, he’s not Ross Perot-crazy-throw a few thousand dollars on the fire because it’s getting chilly in here-wealthy. At this point, the aspirant has probably waved goodbye to 15% of his net worth. I’m starting to get the feeling I get watching Deal or No Deal when some poor sap turns down 100 grand from the banker because they “just know” they have the winning case. Predictably, they go bust and walk away with a couple hundred bucks and the home version of the game.

Now for the really bad news. He can’t win. Despite outspending opponents at every turn by rates of ten and twenty to one; when Mitt Romney presents himself as a candidate to the republican electorate; they listen, take measure and find him wanting. The rural mid-westerners, the northeastern neighbors, the good folks of Dixie, and the melting pot that makes up the Sunshine state, all took a long look and said, “No thanks.” The “path to victory” you always hear campaigns trumpet, simply doesn’t exist. And all the chirping the Clear Channel cheerleaders can muster won’t create one.

Since 1968 the track to republican victory has been found south of the Mason-Dixon line. For Romney, this almost derails his campaign before it gets out of the station. In South Carolina Mitt spent money like a drunken sailor and got doubled up by TWO competitors. The Bible Belt won’t buy what Romney’s selling no matter who’s vouching for him. His record flies in the face of the values those voters hold dear. Romney had troubling stances as a Massachusetts politician with regard to abortion, gun control, government mandated health care and stem-cell research. But wait, there’s more! Now we know, long before a disembodied voice was whispering sweet nothings in his ear at opportune times, Mitt was writing love letters to the Log Cabin Republicans. In a 1994 correspondence in which he vowed to do more for their cause than Ted Kennedy had, he wrote the following in reference to Bill Clinton’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell military policy:

“I believe that the Clinton compromise was a step in the right direction. I am also convinced that it is the first in a number of steps that will ultimately lead to gays and lesbians being able to serve openly and honestly in our nations military.”

That plays well in Soho and Hollywood but I wouldn’t recommend the governor includes that in his stump speech in Georgia. To be sure, the South is in play, just not for Mitt. Mike Huckabee looks very solid in several of the southern Super Tuesday states and his chief rival appears to be John McCain. So where can Romney win?

Romney’s past centrist (to be kind) positions should help him in the northeast and west coast. Unfortunately, those areas are in McCain’s wheelhouse. The Manhattan elites and the left coast libs simply adore Mac. (As much as they can adore someone with an R next to their name) While that won’t buy him a cup of coffee in November, (no matter what he says) it will garner him the lion’s share of the delegates that come from those regions. So, again, where can Romney win?

He has already shown us. Mitt Romney, the picture-perfect, well-heeled, establishment candidate with countless hours of free advertising emanating from radios every day; can pick off a couple of rustbelt states with terrible economies and a few more in the mountain west where high Mormon populations will push him over the top. (Yes Virginia, there is a candidate counting on identity politics.) That showing won’t get him a good seat on the floor in St. Paul, much less the nomination. So, John McCain is a good choice, right?

Wrong. The senator from Arizona has made a cottage industry out of thumbing his nose at conservative principles. You don’t get cameos in big budget movies because you unwaveringly toe the conservative line. Remember Jesse Helms in Lethal Weapon 2? Neither do I. Senator McCain, for all his faults, is a leader. It’s his name on the campaign finance disaster that curtails free speech and gave rise to such beauties as moveon.org and America Coming Together. It’s his name on the amnesty bill that might as well read, “Come here illegally, stay out of trouble, enjoy the good life and just don’t tell everyone back home the deal we’ve got. OK?” It’s his name on the 2004 anti-Gun Show bill that sought to close off private sales and further the registration of guns and gun owners. Yes, Senator McCain is a leader. Unfortunately, he leads in the wrong direction too often.

McCain has a history of attacking evangelicals and their values. In 2000 he infamously referred to Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell as “agents of intolerance”. Here’s what he had to say about abortion in 1999, “In the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade, which would then force “X” number of women in America to undergo illegal and dangerous operations.” You can infer he has no problem with “X” number of unborn babies being slaughtered every year. That doesn’t sound like the candidate real conservatives should coalesce around. Don’t fret. There is hope.

Give Hope a (second) chance. Mike Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas, is the only man that can defeat Senator McCain and capture the nomination for conservatism. He served more than 10 years as his state’s Top Dog (or should that be razorback?) and improved the states infrastructure, raised the national education rank from 49th to 8th , passed the first broad-based tax cut in the state’s history and turned an inherited $200,000,000 deficit into an $800,000,000 surplus. He took on the Clinton political machine four times and beat them soundly, despite having the deck heavily stacked against him. Governor Huckabee is the only candidate in the race who has consistently stood for life, traditional marriage, and the second amendment. Closing the IRS is at the heart of the governor’s economic policy. His border security plan has received rave reviews from the founder of The Minutemen and U.S. Representative Duncan Hunter. It’s true he hails from the same hometown as Bill Clinton. (To be fair, Clinton moved to Hot Springs when he was young, but “The man from Hot Springs” didn’t sound right in a campaign commercial. Although, it certainly would have been a more apropos foreshadow of things to come.) This man from Hope is offering just that to voters all across the country.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll hear the main stream media pushing the Senator from the southwest as the new “inevitable” candidate. This, of course, is hilarious since, as of this writing, seven of the fifty states that make up this union have voted. The rest of us still have work to do. My only caution is, use your vote wisely. Because, a fair reading of the facts shows; despite all his money; despite his thousands of ads; despite the incessant exhorting, distorting and record-contorting by those on talk radio. A vote for Romney is…a vote for McCain.

Solution:

The Solution

The problem: John McCain.

He is in good shape to win the Republican Primary. McCain’s stance on stem cell research and gay-rights (along with his slandering of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell in 2000) have alienated the Socially conservative wing of the Republican party and his rejection of Bush’s tax cuts along with his obvious ignorance on economic nuances have alienated the fiscal conservative wing. The only conservatives McCain credibly appeals to are the old ones (and the national defense conservatives). The conservative punditry (just like in 2000) are up in arms against him, brainstorming on how someone could possibly stop him.

Some solutions that have been brought up are: Mike Huckabee should drop out so he can stop sapping Mitt Romney of his conservative voters. Another solution proposed by Mitt Romney today on MSNBC would be don’t vote for Huckabee, vote for him. This solution would seem logical if only for one thing: Mike Huckabee is leading and contending in more February 5th states than Mitt Romney.

Mike Huckabee is looking good to win in (with delegates are in parenthesis) GA(72), MO(58), TN(55), AL(48), OK(41), AR(34), WV(30).

John McCain is looking good to win in IL(60), ME(21), AZ(53), NJ(52), MN(41), CT(30), AK(29), NY(101), CA (172)

And Mitt Romney is sure to win in….MA(43), UT(36),CO(46).

(I could not find any recent polls for ND=26, MT=25, DE=18)

Another important fact to note is that in many of the states where John McCain is leading, Mike Huckabee is in very close second.

Now the Current delegate count is: McCain 97, Romney 59, Huckabee 40. And in the current circumstances if things played out they way proposed, the delegate count after Feb. 5 would be around:

McCain-653
Huckabee-513
Romney-138

(I gave McCain all of CA delegates because trying to figure out who will get what proportion is crazy but take note that the likelihood of all the delegates from a proportional state primary going to one person is minimal. Also I left out ND=26, MT=25, DE=18 because I really have no clue who they would swing too).

As you can see Huckabee is still very much in play and Mitt romney…not so much.

So I would like to propose a different solution than the one suggested by Mitt Romney and the conservative punidtry. Because Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee generally share the same base and because Mike is leading Romney in a majority of the Feb. 5 states, why doesn’t Mitt Romney drop out and stop splitting the conservative vote between the two? Obviously Mike has a better chance of actually getting the nomination than Romney, this would be the most logical step.

And if Mitt Romney won’t heed this wisdom, why don’t the people who are extremely afraid/disgusted at the idea of a McCain nomination, vote for Mike Huckabee instead of Mitt Romney. He has a better chance of winning, it would only be logical.
