Media Elites Need to Butt Out

Who are they called the media to decide who we vote for. I surely believe that the media is trying to do this. If the polling is not to their satisfaction they begin the bashing of the candidate of their choice, namely Mike Huckabee. When referring to Huckabee he is always called Pastor or former Baptist Preacher Mike Huckabee, but when Mitt Ronmey is referred to it is always former Massachusetts Governor Romney and not Bishop Romney. Yes, Romney is a high Bishop in the Mormon church. Washington has lost touch with the working poor and middle class America. If all the rich people are doing well, then there is nothing wrong in the economy. When the elite start losing money then it is time to do something quickly.

I think it is far time that the media be set straight. What will it take for that to happen? I believe it is time to flood the phone lines of all the Conservative talk show hosts, any and all news media that is misrepresenting Mike Huckabee or the campaign. The Rush Limbaughs, Sean Hannitys, and the likes of them are saying Mike Huckabee is not a Conservative. I believe it goes deeper than that. In my opinion, it is the fact that he is a true Christian that does not hide his faith no matter what. He is willing to stand up for what is right even if it is not the best Conservative thing to do. His views of treating one as one would want to be treated is exactly how he acts. The “Talking Heads” do not want a man like Huckabee for the fact that he would make them take a better look at themselves and the way they treat others. I know they give money to charities, help out the military, and others things such as that, however, they are the very ones trying to do everything they can to annihilate Huckaee from the GOP campaign. I thought being in Louisiana that our politicians knew which side their bread was buttered on so they best do to suit themselves other than those they were elected to help. Our talk radio personalities do not want Huckabee to be President since he is not one of them, and them are those that are the elite Wallstreet class. I can say I did not come from that class, and am not part of that class now in my adult life.  How can an elitist understand my worries when trying to make ends meet. I know Mike knows where I come from because he was there at one time. He can’t write a check to finance his campaign. I want Mike in office for how frugally he has ran this campaign.

Yes, the news media needs to know that Mike is competing in Florida, but he does have a grassroots campaign there that is helping out for free. We don’t have to be paid to give lip service or anything else for our candidate! We proudly go out there for Mike simply because we know where he stands and what he wants for America. It is time we vote our values. The soul of America is at stake during this election year. If our children lose these values then what will they have. Yes, we teach them at home, but once they get out in the world look at what is exposed to them. This year I sent an innocent eleven year old to middle school, and now the information he has learned just blows my mind. It is at a younger age when our children are taught these deplorable things. If our nation does not get back to what the Founding Fathers wanted, then what will it have? So, the media needs to stop giving their bias to the listener, and let the listener make up their minds by themselves. Wake up America, vote your values & heart!

  • I am so glad to know that folks from my home state are supporting Mike Huckabee. When I talk to people back home, they seem to be very confused about just what Huckabee stands for. Some of my friends think that he is the most liberal candidate on the GOP ticket. This disheartens me, and I am hoping that the media will stop the untrue rhetoric! I am especially disappointed in the media conservatives–both TV and radio–that usually represent my viewpoint accurately because they, too, have not been telling the whole truth.

  • Jennifer,

The media bias has gone on far too long. Normally it is slanted torwards the Democrats, and along came Fox News to rescue the Conservatives of the world. Now that very network that we thought would help our voice be heard in the nation is now spreading their rhetoric against Huckabee. Our so-called God loving politicians have sold themselves out to Romney. Congressman McCrery and Rodney Alexander are heading up his campaign in Louisiana. There is not much organization here for Huckabee other than the meet-up groups, we are doing all we can to spread information for him. At the Caucus the other day the local Republican Party told me that a lot of people were asking about Huckabee, I was so glad.
Also, the news media here is telling us that our Primary will not count since “Super Tuesday” will determine who the nominee is. However, it will more than likely be until March 4 when Texas holds their Primary that will give Huckabee the votes he needs for the nomination. Keep checking this blog, I try to update it at least once per week. Thanks for voting Huckabee!

  • I, too, am so glad to see support for Mike in Louisiana. We need someone to lead our country who has good character and moral values.

People always complain they don’t have a good candidate to vote for. Now you do!! A vote for Mike will get American back on an upward climb!

I urge Christian people to stand up and vote their values instead of their party.
